Smart Amperometric Chlorine Sensor System

Alongside the US Navy, our team at Lucent Water has developed a direct-line insertion smart chlorine sensor system for the most challenging waters on the planet, now available for all commercial applications. The AEGIS Sensor System is a self-cleaning, chemical-free, and membrane-free multi-parameter sensor measuring 5+ parameters in just a single probe. It is now NSF-61 Certified and EPA Method 334.0 compliant for municipal drinking water with options to measure multiple oxidants including free chlorine, bromine, total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, and ozone. The AEGIS Smart Sensor System is the amperometric analyzer of choice for water operators seeking to minimize maintenance and maximize flexibility, from the cleanest drinking water applications to most challenging wastewater applications.

Simplified Monitoring & Compliance

AEGIS is a state-of-the-art sensor system designed to automate water management operation while dramatically lowering operating costs, maintenance, and installation prices.

Our Mission

Lucent Water has over 50 years of combined experience in manufacturing analytical instrumentation for water quality monitoring. We have worked in partnership with the US Navy to develop a state-of-the-art sensor system to replace out-of-date chemical-based sensors on ships and submarines. The AEGIS Sensor has been honed through many years of testing in laboratory, dockside, and shipboard applications.

Our patented design is a revolutionary breakthrough in amperometric sensor technology, designed in partnership with the US Navy for cooling water treatment applications aboard ships and submarines. This robust system is self-cleaning, requires little to no maintenance, and is now available for industrial applications including municipal drinking water, wastewater treatment, and cooling tower applications.  The AEGIS Sensor is a multi-parameter system, capable of measuring multiple oxidants including chlorine, bromine, monochloramine, ozone, and chlorine dioxide, while also measuring temperature, conductivity, pH and ORP all in one probe. Let us show you how the new AEGIS Smart Sensor System can reduce your costs and improve the efficiency of your water treatment facility.
